PBS Newshour Live YouTube Today - Will it Be a Success?
A few days ago, I had been watching the PBS Newshour lives on YouTube. It's one of those stations which you either love or hate. It's somewhat like the Food Network but for news and current affairs. You've got to pay for the service as it costs some cash for them to stream the news on the internet in high definition quality. Nonetheless, it's worth your while.
The very first thing I thought when I saw the movie was that it has to be one of those Thai battle videos. The Thai fighters are doing their version of the Wing Chun and Muay Thai struggle where they hit on their opponents to the ground and opt for the submission. It looked impressive to me and it seemed like something that the audience wouldn't forget. Butthen I remembered that I am not in the world of fighting, and perhaps my tastes run a little bit to the rough side. So, I decided to have a look at the PBS Newshour's New York site to find out what all the hubbub was about.
Once I watched the video, I instantly realized there were actually two different services that I could sign up for. The free service provided news videos live on your pc while the premium service offered more premium video programming live on your PC. They also had a news blog that posted làm kỷ niệm chương on their website and RSS feed to you TV feed so that you did not overlook any of the Newshour Newsworthy. To put it differently, both variations of this PBS Newshour Live YouTube now are extremely similar.
So far as the news video goes, they do have a news blog and you can opt to cover the movie from the News class or the Featured category. It was not very clear to me that class I'd want to cover since they offer a broad selection. The same holds true for the movie portion of the service. I suppose it is entirely your decision. However, it does appear that the paid support gives you access to more information and other video programming compared to the free support.
While the paid support costs quite somewhat more compared to the free service, I am sure it will pay off in the end. As far as programming goes, the two choices are fairly excellent. I think that the only real difference between the two services is that the free service doesn't have quite the choice of video that the paid service does. That being said, they deliver news and other websites in time and with higher quality. Time will tell if either service will be the king of the Internet television business.
It will be interesting to see what happens within the upcoming few months. Both services appear to have excellent support from Time Warner Cable. While we wait patiently and see exactly what the fourth quarter has in store, there is no better way to get real-world information about what is going on in your regional area or across the world then by adjusting into PBS Newshour Live YouTube or PBS Newshour Live. Regardless of which you choose, the time of day that you choose to watch will be incredibly important.
